Modul8 - Tester
Test run at learning how to use Modul 8. This is a combination of photos, videos, and animation. The building, billboard, and man with the guitar are all photos. The man with the apple is a previous film brought into this Modul 8 test, and the windmill in the billboard has been animated to turn clockwise.

Preparation H
Craft: I separated the layers of the man even more by disconnecting his arm to allow it free motion. This made it easier to make him scratch his bum. It also made it easier to have him lean into the scratches as well.
Concept: The concept of this video is to take a painting and break it down in photoshop to allow me to create different layers so that i can move them into an animation.
Composition: " " <-- below post

Ugh!
Craft: I used the pin tools to mark of areas of the body in the painting to make him move. Once I marked off the areas I held control and moved the mouse at the same time. This recorded the movements of the pin allowing the man to move.
Concept: The concept of this piece is to just get the hang of using the pin tools in after effects and learning how to make certain areas of a painting move and come to life.
Composition: This video is composed of the painting Son of Man that has been stripped into layers in photoshop and brought into after effects.

Revised
Craft: I used the same techniques and images used in the previous post. The only thing that has changed is the image of the POW flag and me that not scans across the page, and the image of my dad and the text along with his image.
Concept: The concept has changed from showing my future in the military to showing where my interest has come from. Its to tie in our relationship and pride in service.
Composition: Composed of the same three images as before but with a new picture of my father.

Unfinished Vid.
Craft: I used the Adobe program After Effects to create this video. I stared by going to the tool bar and clicking Composition and then New Composition to start the process. I would then go to File-Import-From File, and import my images and drag and drop them in the time line. I would arrange the images in the order that I would want them to being then moved on to the animation. The firts animation I used the text tool to place layers of letter and used the setting options in the time line for a little over a second each, I did the same for the last image in the video as well. For the sound I used the audio clip from the post below and imported it like an image file.
Concept: The concept of this video was to make it reflect yourself in any way. I did this by adding the image of the dog tag my cousin got me with a verse "I am enabled through God to stand firm in Christ Jesus" which represents my faith and future. The second images represents my respect for out soldiers both fighting and fallen, buy the POW flag, as well as the crest for each branch of the military, and the last image is to show my identification through my personal dog tags.
Composition: This video is composed of layers of images, sound, and text that are arranged in a set manor to complete the above clip. I used an image of a gift from my cousin, myself, and my dog tags to tell a little about myself in my own way.

Music Test: "Down Lines"
Mm-f11-kh-music by henschelk04
Craft: What I used to create this 30 second clip was the program Adobe Garage Band. I used different clips that are categorized in the side bar to search music. I raised and lowered the volume of certain clips so that the music wouldn't sound as cluttered.
Concept: The concept of this post was to create a 30 second sound clip that could be used in a digital video or animation. I wanted something that was composed of things that I like, and thought to be funny or interesting.
Composition: This clip is composed of 7 different sound clips. They are put together in a certain order to give the beginning and after effect of down power lines, or bad reception of a phone. The middle is more of a violin rock sound, along with a bit of techno.
